What's this about then?

'Songs in the Key of Mike' is the story of my life. I no longer harbour any desire to be on stage, but I feel drawn to record all of the songs I've written over the years simply for fun, and because it seems odd to have spent thousands of hours crafting music that doesn't see the light of day. Some songs are heartfelt, some moody, and some are utterly absurd. I have no interest in playing with algorithms so this is my little corner of the internet to share stuff.

There will be some collaborations along the way with some of the incredible musicians I've met along the way. When a song is completed I'll upload it here and you can have a listen and download it for free, and if something hits you are more than welcome to buy me a cuppa!

Plan is to release everything as a very big album in 2030 - I don't have to rush that way!
